LABOUR NEWS Protest by Railway Contract Workers
Several hundreds of contract workers under the Indian Railways will stage a dharna at Jantar Mantar,
The main demands of the workers are:
v Regularisation of service
v Payment of departmental wages and facilities
v Social security benefits and continuity of jobs and employment of the contract workers in the event of change of contractors.
The dhrana will be followed by a public meeting.
